Straw Wreath

Hello readers!  Today I have another project from our wine and craft afternoon.  This one comes from my bff Kristen.  Even though this one has a Christmassy feel, if you used different colored straws, you could make them for pretty much anything.  We also discovered while crafting that the straws would look super cute as a picture frame or a mirror.  In other words, a very versatile project! 

The first step is to find striped straws in the color of your choice.  First, trace a circle on a piece of cardstock and glue full size straws around the circle.

Then cut some of the straws in half.

Glue the smaller pieces around the circle, filling in the blank spaces.

Keep going until the whole circle is completely covered.  Here is what you will end up with!
